Born in Lahore, Mohsin Shaukat Ali moved to Canada as a young man to find a new audience for his talent that he received as inheritance from his very accomplished singer, musician and song writing father, late Ustad Shaukat Ali. Mohsin has a powerful style and voice of his illustrious father, yet he is also trying to find a vocal and performance style that is his own.
